CSI Piemonte attended the Cyber Security Week Conference 2018 in The Hague, Netherland, on the 3rd and 4th of October.
CWS18 is probably the most relevant business conference and exhibition of cyber technologies in Europe. The latest innovations and solutions in the field of cyber technology are presented by relevant actors and it provides opportunities of networking and strengthening alliances. Business-to-Business interaction opportunities are also numerous during this event, thanks to the 1x1 matchmaking activity (also called CSWmatch 2018) and CSI Piemonte has made the most of this chance. Contacts made during the event are split into three groups Competitors or possible partners, Potential partners (research), Potential investors.
The different contacts have shown real interest in CIPSEC. In some cases, they see it as a competitor, as they have a similar product. Some collaboration proposals have arisen to extend CIPSEC functionalities and also for joint ventures to collaborate in different geographical areas. GDPR-related issues were also part of the discussions. Some contact came from the start-up world but there were also meetings with representatives of the German government, who were very interested in the project in the light of the threats critical infrastructures in Germany are facing.
CSI have also posted 3 articles on Linkedin resulting in more than 600 visualizations for Davide De Santis an more than 300 for Barbara Lunel
